Hadley was my first newborn in the new studio, in fact I got the call that she was going to be born right as we finished painting. Talk about great timing!
She brought her Mom, Dad and three siblings with her to her session which made for a fun time! Her Mom made the lovely little cocoon that I love and the sweet little hat, she's so talented! They're such a beautiful family.
I'd gotten to meet Tyler earlier this summer when he helped teach my middle kid swimming lessons. She is a big fan of her "buddy" as the swim coaches are called. So I was very excited to work with Tyler.
We had a little bit of an adventure on his session getting to visit a great Aunt's property with a old abandoned house and rows and rows of vintage cars and trucks. We also got to visit the high school gym and track for some shots!
It was a super fun session and we got to try some new stuff which I always love doing! Tyler is a great person and I'm so glad to have gotten to know him a little better!
My very favorite part of my Senior model program is getting to see the senior at least twice in their senior year and seeing how much they've grown and changed. We notice the change when they're little but it's amazing to me every year and every Senior just how much change there is in them!

We got to hang out with her Grandpa towards the end of her session and borrow his antique tractor for a couple shots, he was such a hoot!
And Caitlin's sister was an excellent dress thrower, we couldn't have gotten the shot without her.
Alexandria did a fantastic job at her Senior session! She also brought her adorable son for a few shots too. It was so nice to meet her and her family!
Many months ago Vanessa contacted me to do a couples session with her and her boyfriend. But then a couple months ago she told me we were switching to an engagement session! I'm so excited for them, and it was great to meet Vanessa in person after talking for so long.
They are such a sweet couple and I'm so glad to get to work with them. After their engagement session I can't wait for their wedding day!
Crystal had a very windy and chilly day for her session but she was a trooper and totally rocked her session. I also got to try out some new lighting techniques I've been practicing and everything worked perfectly, even with the wind blowing over a light stand :(
I get to work with the best Senior girls, they've all been gorgeous and have had great attitudes too!
Kansas has some of the most beautiful sunsets, every night is something new and beautiful!
For Aleasha and Kyle's engagement session we went to Kyle's family farm, which I loved! I appreciate so much what the farming community does, it's such hard work.
Aleasha and Kyle have such a wonderful connection and great chemistry. They really made my job easy, even with 3 pickup trucks, a tractor and a dog in their session!
Laci and Joe had a fabulous wedding with lots of gold glittery details which I personally am a big fan of! They're both big into softball, which is how they met, so we went to the baseball field to do some of their wedding photos! They also got to use an antique car that's been in the family for awhile to exit the wedding and we borrowed it again later for a quick couple of shots.

Em and Lance had a beautiful September wedding. The bride was stunning and her dress was simply gorgeous. They did a fantastic job with their wedding and reception decor, keeping a rustic theme.
Liz, the bride's sister sang "Do you want to build a snowman" from the movie Frozen after her speech at the reception and I don't think there was a dry eye, I know I got teary!
I'm so glad I got to capture their day!
I'm so glad I got to photograph Brianna in her Senior year. I'd gotten to photograph her older brother last year and I really have enjoyed getting to know their family and so it was nice to see them again!
Brianna got beautiful light for the first half and then we were literally running to beat the dark, lol! It was a fun session and I think she looks beautiful!
Alyssa decided to have her session at El Rancho Exotica which I'd never been to. It was so pretty and they were very helpful. Alyssa rocked her session and I'm so excited to share it with you!
Rosa was so fun to photograph! We tried some new poses and new locations that turned out great. And she brought her javelin which was fun to photograph with her. We photographed until dark and the last super moon of the year rose into the sky and we managed to get a shot with it too.

Jason's mom contacted me to do a first birthday session on their property. On the way to their house it started to rain and I got a little nervous that we'd have to reschedule but the rain stayed away from their house and we got beautiful light!
I've been wanting to do baby in the tub pictures for so long and am so happy with how these turned out! We even managed so sneak in a family shot at the end of Jason's session.
I was supposed to shoot Chantell and Ryan's wedding but they opted to elope. So a couple months ago they decided to do a trash the dress session with me to get wall art with Chantell in her wedding dress and to get some fun images too!
On the day of their session the storm clouds rolled in, the wind picked up and a rainbow appeared! It really helped make the images more beautiful and I'm so glad it showed up!
Andrea and her adorable little girls came to see me last year and they were very busy little girls. This year was no different, lol! It was wonderful to see them again, they'd grown so much!
With their youngest turning one, the Irsik family met me for family pictures! There were lots of silly faces and giggles for their session, and we got some beautiful pictures of their family. Since two of the images are for their Christmas cards, I'll have to wait to share them!
Hadley was born a few weeks ago and I had been asked by her mother who is also a very dear friend to capture the birth of her and her husband's fourth baby. Maegan labored for nearly 24 hours, spending most of the day at home, then at work to finish up a few things, then back home again. Because Maegan had decided to have her baby naturally without drugs she wanted to wait as long as possible before going to the hospital.
She decided to go in around 10pm, and they decided it was time to stay. I came at 11:30pm and stayed the rest of the time with them. Maegan was strong and calm and amazing. She birthed the way she wanted and her husband was a great birth helper. I loved seeing them work together as a team to bring their baby into the world. Hadley arrived just in time to beat the dawn.

Though Cherie and Preston currently live in the Denver area they came to the beautiful Scott Lake park to do their engagement session. They also brought their adorable St Bernard, Husker to their session. He was a very well behaved guy, and only photobombed us a few times, lol!
We also saw quite a few deer and a whole bunch of turkeys too at their session!
I'm so glad they were able to take some time out of their busy weekend to hang out with me, it was lovely to meet them and I'm thrilled to have gotten to capture them during this wonderful times of their lives, and can't wait for their wedding day!

Keali had her bridal session a couple weeks before her wedding. Since we used some heavier pieces of furniture I was very grateful that her Mom came with to help!
